Manny Ramirez.....okay so just what were thinking?

What were you thinking when you took the banned substance and almost, as important, what were you thinking when you came up with the lame excuse that your doctor prescribed medication that contained the banned substance?

Greed or Stupidity? Whatever it is....it is at least incredible that you would do it? First of all, $22 Million a year is not enough? That's enough money in a lifetime to pay for you, your family, your children, your grandchildren and anyone else who lives in "Manny World"

Stupidity? Likely. Manny...I don't know you personally though I am a fan and I really do like the way you approach life. You apparently are not too full of yourself and certainly appear not to take life too seriously. It looks like you have fun "just being Manny" But come on....your doctor prescribed something for you? Manny....that excuse is almost as good as "My dog ate my homework!!" You are a professional athlete and no doubt you have advisers watching your back in everything...and I mean everything you do. Are you trying trying to convince us that you were putting something in your body that either your doctor didn't know contained the banned substance or that one of your peeps didn't advise you to have checked out before you took it? You either need a new doctor or you need a new set of advisers...maybe some that simply don't have their hand out waiting for some of your cash.

Here's some better advice...Manny. What don't you just Man Up and admit you cheated, take your 50 game suspension and your $8 Million fine (that's $8,000,000.00)? Wow that's alot of money. AND please come back a little more humble and play baseball the way we've come to expect from you.
